San Antonio Getaway

A few weeks ago we took at little trip to San Antonio and had a lot of fun. Michael found a kiddie amusement park there, we weren't sure if Will would brave the rides or not, but we decided to try it. Boy did he surprise us, he hopped on every ride & was saying more at the end of each one!
Daddy was never too far away
Whoa horsey!

Flying an airplane
This one really shocked us, he climbed right in the cage for the ferris wheel. Since we were the only people there the operator let us take our time and stopped it after each time around so we could see if Will wanted off. Well, he loved it!

Up, up and away!

I got to tag along on the helicopters that go round and round & up and down....a little faster than I would have liked :)
Another day we went down to the riverwalk and rode the boats.

Evidently my nose was more entertaining than the tour guide or scenery!

Lunch on the riverwalk, mexican of course!

Hanging out in the hottub, becuase mama and daddy wanted to warm up, the pool was freezing!

We pretty much had the place to ourselves

On our way home we stopped at the Wildlife Safari, where you drive through and feed all kinds of animals. Pictures of that to come!

A Little Catching Up

Here is a peek of the happenings in the Wortley house over the past couple months. Michael had a birthday, that we celebrated with a family fun day to Huntsville State Park for a picnic & some fishing. Will liked the fish at first, you can see him signing 'more' at the bottom of this picture:

By fish number 2 he was crying!

Back home for daddy's birthday cupcakes, Will ended up looking similar to the way he did on his birthday!

We got brave one Saturday and decided to try going to an Astros game, it went way better than last year :)
Will liked watching the action from here, evidently he's not a fan of the nosebleeds

Will started school this fall, just one day a week and I think he is really liking it. He's happy when I drop him off & happy when I pick him up - I couldn't ask for more!
Enjoying a frozen yogurt stick in the hot Texas heat
Loving on his favorite doggie

Camo pants & rubber boots, 100% boy!

Will dressed himself this day, i think it's hilarious when he is so determined to wear certain things!
