It has been an interesting week in the Wortley household. At Will's 2 week appointment we learned that we had not gained his brithweight back. He was 7 pounds 9 ounces when he was born & 6 pounds 10 ounces when we left the hospital. At his 2 week appointment he was only 6 pounds 15 ounces. The pediatrician asked how we felt about supplmenting with formula - I was all for whatever is best for Will & his weight gain. So we started giving him formula after nursing him & ohmygoodness we have a new baby on our hands. Poor thing had been hungry for 2 weeks! Each day is getting easier now :) We started supplementing on Wednesday, when we went back to the pediatrician on Friday he was up to 7 pounds 6 ounces. Will gets the good eater award!!
