Lost Pines...Found!

This past week we took our first family vacation. We spent a few days at the Hyatt Lost Pines & had a great time! Will did really well in the car - it wasn't too long of a drive, but still I was wondering how much he would "talk"! And he did well sleeping in his pack & play - whew!

This was such a neat place, the grounds were beautiful. Lots of huge old pecan trees. I looked & looked for the lost pines, but couldn't find them. They were down the road I bit...hmmm. We spent lots of time exploring!

The water was a bit cold, some might say cold as ice, so the lazy river wasn't all the fun I'd hoped for. But the nightly campfire where you can roast marshmallows & make s'mores totally made up for the cold water! We were there every night, poor Will didn't even know what he was missing out on :)

Trying out the grass - he was none too interested. Maybe he got something from me after all!

He advanced to this:

Will thought it was hilarious to watch Michael play basketball. I was pretty proud of this picture, I happened to catch one of the few that made it in!

Laughing up a storm!

Neat-o trees, sorry it's turned the wrong way, but you get the idea!
