More Firsts!

First of all, I can't believe we are coming up on 5 months. Time is flying by!

The past couple weeks held several firsts for Will. His first trip to the beach, his first time away from home, his first cereal, his first Father's Day (so maybe that's actually a first for Michael!), his first time home alone overnight with mama and his first time rolling over!

We spent a few days at a beach house in Galveston with the whole Wortley crew. I must say it went way better than I anticipated. Will took better naps there than he does at home. I guess all that fun in the sun (well shade!) and playing with his cousins wore him out. What fun!

Take me to the beach!

Happy Father's Day! Can you show me how to tie this one day Daddy?? (I got slippers, it's only fair that he get a tie!)

One thing I have figured out for sure is that Will is an eater. He always has been. So it was no surprise that he loves his cereal! He even cries when he's finished his bowl some days :)

I survived as a single parent for a few days while Michael was out of town for work. I didn't realize how much I like the break I normally get when he gets home! For all my hard work, Will gave me a special treat - he was having a big time on his activity mat when he just rolled right over. He was shocked! I'm not sure if it was from all the "I'm so proud of you baby" 's that I was yelling or if he was just wondering what he'd done :) Here he is post-rollover!

The next day this is as far as he would go:

And finally a tummy time picture that I'm really proud of. Every time we have tummy time I prop him up on his elbows, but he always kicks his arms out to the side. Well he's finally figured out it's easier to let his arms do some of the work of holding up his head!
